Sunright Tea Studio brings these feelings and ideas together in fresh, delicious drinks and warm experiences that brighten the day of everyone who walks through our door.

We call ourselves a tea studio because Sunright is more than just a tea shop. We take pride in sourcing the highest quality ingredients and bringing great care and intention to the preparation process. We provide an inviting space to share time with family and friends, a hangout spot for the perfect afternoon tea, and a neighborhood destination where everyone is greeted with a genuine smile. Our creative product line represents the free style of California.

The sunny theme of Sunright isn’t limited to the atmosphere in our stores. Our tea leaves are cultivated in mountaintop farms, where the plants soak in the essence of the sun and absorb the nourishment of the misty, evening rain. Our master farmers pick the fresh leaves and carefully process them through a variety of methods, including rolling, roasting, and fermentation. The tea is then blended with other tea varietals based on origin, weather, and season, resulting in balanced and consistent flavor.

We take tea seriously!

We use ceylon black tea, jasmine green tea, roasted oolong, and a special oolong varietal called Four Seasons as the base for other drinks and also as standalone beverages to savor and appreciate. Each of these teas is steeped (pun intended) in centuries of horticultural history. Like fine wine, they’re selected for carefully-defined attributes of flavor and fragrance. We pair different teas with different ingredients, bringing a deep understanding of how the unique qualities of each style of tea will complement the other flavors and textures.

We take great pride in our ingredients, whether it be cooking them in-house, or procuring them from exceptional purveyors in Asia and California. Our locally-sourced products include barista-grade, non-dairy milks from Los Angeles-based Califia Farms and the probiotic drink Yakult, made in Fountain Valley.

If America is a melting pot, then Southern California is an even deeper melting pot. The diversity of cultures that converge here enrich our culinary experiences. Sunright combines Eastern and Western ingredients to express the best of both worlds. Our joy is discovering new recipes that celebrate the uniqueness of Southern California. This includes delightful combinations such as Oreo cookies and boba, or horchata and tea. When you take a sip of a Sunright drink, you connect to other cultures across the globe.
